David Morimoto is the director of the Natural Science and Mathematics Division at Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. An ecologist and conservation biologist, he has studied birds in Massachusetts and South America and is currently involved in urban ecology studies and conservation and education work in Guyana.
Morimoto has devoted considerable amounts of time to thinking, teaching, and writing about the unifying features of complex living systems. He writes poems influenced by his experiences and has had two of them published in professional journals.
