Our Fall 2013 issue will include a new TW feature: cartoons.
We now accept cartoon submissions—strips, single panels, or excerpts from graphic novels—especially if they’re related to one of our issue themes. Please submit cartoons under “Visual Arts” at talkingwriting.submittable.com.
This cartoon is part of Bertie Puddlepoop Enters the Cyberworld, in which the title character—an old-time theater impresario more comfortable on the stage than the screen—joins the brave new world of online imaging. Look for more of Bertie’s adventures in the upcoming issue.
Donald Langosy is the husband and partner in creative crime of TW Executive Editor Elizabeth Langosy. He’s also a painter and creator of the Bertie Puddlepoop Puppet Troupe. His image essay “Poets and Painters” appeared in TW last year.
